Choosing the right material is essential in building a deck. Composite materials have become increasingly popular because of the low maintenance involved, but there's also a variety of natural wood materials (Western Red Cedar, Mahogany, Ipe') that look great as well. The above deck and patio combination was a recently completed project in Buckingham Township. The patio is a colored stamped concrete design with a clear coat sealer. The deck is a composite, with the new Timbertech Exotic Hardwoods collection in Tropical Rosewood as the decking, and the Timbertech white Radiance Rail as the railing system. The homeowner was thrilled with the final product, especially the richness of the decking material.

The deck below was a custom design with TimberTech composite decking with the following details:

1. Cedar tone twin finish planks for the floor

2. Perimeter of the new TimberTech exotic hardwoods composite collection in Tropical Walnut tone.

3. Cedar tone TimberTech railing system

4. Custom compass star designed in upper section

5. Built in benches and storage container built also with TimberTech

The project was completed in two weeks time and the owners were thrilled with the results!
